Almost All White

Shirley, posting a card today for our "Thoughtful" challenge. I have made an almost all white card to share with you. Last week, I did a personal card with some white embossing on white card stock and loved the look of it. I knew then that I would be white embossing on Vellum real soon and here it is.

I started my card using a white card base. Next, I used white card stock and the Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight to cut my next layer. I used the Joy Foam Pads Large to attach it and the plain oval to the card base.

I used Versamark and white embossing powder to stamp the flowers, birds and leaves with Heartfelt Creations Birds and Blooms and Botanical Rose stamp sets to stamp on the vellum. I colored the (vellum) backs of the images with markers.

I used the McGill Paper Blossoms Tool Kit to give my birds, blooms and leaves some depth. I used sticky dots to attach them to the white oval.

I used the Spellbinders Floral Ovals to cut the decorative oval.   I used Joy Foam Pads Large to attach it and the oval with the flowers to the rest of the card.  I added white pearls to decorate the corners and the center of the blooms.

I needed a sentiment to finish up my card and I used a stamp I had in my collection.  I white embossed the sentiment  on white card stock.  I used a dauber to sponge pink ink over the top of it to give it some color.

Thank you for stopping in to take a look at my challenge card for this week.  I hope you will join us for the challenge.  We would love to see your cards!

Wow, Shirley, what an absolute delight this card is - it just "sings" SPRING!! Love how you popped the filagree die up and then added the vellum flowers and birds, then the pearls for a great finishing touch!!
