Merry Trees

Hi, it's Jenny posting today, with a card I designed for the latest Classy Cards 'n Such challenge.

The challenge is Polka Dot Christmas and I hope you can come join us this week for a chance to win a great prize!

I started by choosing my paper.  Most of my Christmas polka dot papers were too overwhelming for the delicate dies I wanted to use, but then I found this beautiful ornament paper in my Authentique Tradition paper pad. The polka dot paper is from Bo Bunny's Mistletoe paper pad. The tiny polka dots look like falling snow!

The green trees were cut from green card stock using Impression Obsession's new Evergreen Trees die.  The die cuts three trees, but this card needed another so I cut the smallest one twice.  Two of the larger trees were popped up with Joy! Foam pads to create more dimension.

I cut the word Merry out of Red paper using Impression Obsession's Alphabet Plain Upper Case die. * You could use the Parker Upper Alphabet in the online store. Link located below.*

The Memory Box Sparkling Snowflake Corner die, was cut out of white card stock and covered in Stickles so it glitters.  I glued tiny Silver Rhinestones to the centers of the flakes.

I cut the circles using Spellbinders Large and Small Classic Circle sets.  I cut a hole in the ornament paper with the larger die and then cut a hole out of red card stock with the smaller die and glued the pieces together.  The panel was popped up with Joy! Foam Pads to create the little scene inside the circle.  It reminds me of a snow globe.

Thanks for looking! Don't forget to join our challenge and invite your friends to play along!
