Rebirth of Spring

Hi Classy Friends! Diane with you today with my mind set on Spring!

I am just beginning to see the tulips and daffodils sprouting up out of the snow. Since I can't see the real thing yet, I thought I would do the next best thing and create a card with Spring in mind. This card came together very quickly, but yet I think it makes quite a statement!

I started my card using Banana Split - Pop Tone 110#  paper for my card base. I used the new, gorgeous Bo Bunny Soft Shades Double-Dot Designs paper.

I basically just layered my card, starting with the Impression Obsession Twig Wreath. I cut two sets of Memory Box Dancing Tulips which I colored with Copics. I stamped my sentiment on Spellbinders Fancy Tags Three and popped it up using Joy Foam Pads Large.
The butterfly I cut using Joy Butterfly Trio.  To finish my card, I added two Baby Pearls-White.

I hope you have been inspired by some of the products I used today to create your own spring project. Don't forget, CCNS always has a weekly challenge going, we would love for you to join in!

Such a pretty card for someone special! Thanks Diane!

Daisy for Someone

Hi, it's Misti to share a card with you today!  I have had the worst luck lately trying to get designer paper to match my project.  Have you ever run into that problem?

Well, I have a solution for you, Impression Obsession has some great background stamps called Cover-a-Card. There are quite a few different ones but the one I used today is the Gingham - Cover-A-Card.  I used my favorite black ink on a piece of white cardstock to create my background piece.  Can't you see it inked up in red or blue or pink or?

My main image stamp is from the new JustRite stamp set called Hello Daisy. I stamped it in black ink onto white cardstock.

I pulled out my Twinkling H2Os - Springtime. I used the colors of Buttercup for the center, and Sea Glass for the leaves and stem.  I don't know if you can see it in the photo, but it gives a nice shimmer of color to the image.

My yellow piece is Banana Split - Pop Tone cardstock.  It is a gorgeous shade of yellow!

I used the Dots embossing folder. To finish my card, I backed my pieces with black cardstock and used pieces of Joy Foam Pads to pop my image panel up.  It's all ready to go in the mail!

Your card is a wonderful way to say hello! Thanks Misti!

Girl in Orchid

Hi Classy friends, it's Holly today!

Pantone has declared this to be the year of Radiant Orchid, and I had that color in my head when I colored this adorable Sarah Kay image called Winter Warmth.

I started by stamping this sweet Stampavie Winter Warmth  onto white cardstock, and then I colored it with Copic markers. I then cut it out with an oval die and matted it with a Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals, Large. This image was adhered to a white card base with large Joy! Foam Pads.

I decided to go with a White on White technique from Technique Junkies, so I added the Cheery Lynn Designs die cut Lace Corner Deco F pieces in the corners.

Some sweet little Baby Pearls - White were added to the lacy corner pieces.

I love these sweet Sarah Kay stamps. There's still a few of these left in the store, so check them out here and grab 'em while you can.

Your card has such a clean and simple look! Thanks Holly!
